Coral Reef Pics 4/8/10
Hi Wet Web folks!
<Hello Nick>
I just happened to accidentally come upon some reef pictures in my local newspaper, The Baltimore Sun. I'm not sure about the protocols involved with sharing pics, but I figured I'd send along the link and let Bob decide if he'd like to share them. Hope you enjoy...I was pleasantly surprised!-Nicholas Sadaka

<Geez, gorgeous photos Nick, but we generally do not post other peoples work without their approval. I do thank you for sharing these beautiful photos with us.
Cheers,
James (Salty Dog)>

Re: unidentified Abudefduf   2/19/08 Dear Mr.. Fenner, <Rokus> Thanks for the response, the effort and the compliment about the picture. There's more of them at www.diverosa.com , where the Abudefduf vaigiensis will be found in reasonable amount of time (there are more species to be determined). <Ahh, very nice indeed. I do like the layout of your "folders"... You have a good eye and technique. Thank you for sharing> Thanks again, Best regards, Rokus Groeneveld. <Bob Fenner>

Sending photos to WWM? How to 7/30/05 Hi Folks <Cheers> Just been diving at Sharm and took a few photos with a new digital camera and thought I'd share them with you, as this was my first attempt at underwater photography. <Fabulous!> My question is quite simple, how do I send them to you. Steve Whale <Please feel welcome to send a couple here my friend, but we kindly ask that you resize them down to just a few hundred kb at most in size. Best regards, Anthony>

- Underwater Photo Site - Hi, I'd really appreciate your feedback on the site, I know the website is a bit naff but pointers to make it better would be good. After all, mechanics don't fix their own cars (do they?) Of course, I accept no criticism about the photo's, just the site! <Well... I like the pictures. Being an underwater photographer for only little over a year, the one thing I've developed in that time is a profound amount of respect for folks who take nice photos underwater - it's just not that easy. I'm sure as time allows, you'll touch up the site that surrounds them... no worries.> http://www.seawaters.co.uk Cheers <Cheers, J -- >

Re: Looking for price, availability info. (More u/w camera gear) Hi Robert, Right now the N90 Master housings are on back order. Price is $1760.00 when available again (should be within a month). I sell Ultra Light photo arms - $250.00 each side complete (with two arm segments, three clamps, base adapter, and strobe adapter) I also sell Ocean Brite arms - $225.00 per side complete as above I can order Ikelite arms for approximately the same price as Ultra Light, depending on which Ike arm set you want. Ike 400 - retail is $950.00, your price is $800.00 Ike TTL single cord - $90.00 Dual cord - $150.00 I do not stock Ike 400 strobes so I would have to order them - a week or so to get them to me. Shipping to you is UPS Ground which takes a little over a week, unless you want faster. Let me know, Woody <Thanks much for the speedy and to-the-point response. I would like to order the housing, two strobes, the arm sets you suggest. A query re the dual or single strobe. I use two currently on my Nexus rigs... do you have a stance either way? Bob Fenner, WetWebMedia.com> >Hello there, >Am looking to buy another Nexus N90 hsg. (no ports, gears...) and two Ikelite 400 strobes, arms and sync cords for same. I have other Nexus gear >et al. Would you please send me a price, about how long it would take to ship all to California? >Thank you, Robert Fenner, WetWebMedia.com
Re: Looking for price, availability info.
Hi Robert, You can do nice macro with one strobe. <Yes... I have two Ikelite 100's I use on the 70-180 telemacro... Want the new 400's for the 20, 60, 105mm...> Wide angle pretty much needs two. I personally use two strobes for both macro and wide angle. <Me too... sometimes three...> The housing bodies will be available again in about a month, they tell me. As to arm sets, which were you wanting - Ultra Light? If so, which length for arm segments? I have 5,8,12, and 16" arm sections. I suggest 5x5 for macro and either 8x8 or 8x5 for all round photography. <The eight by five combo please> Woody Nexus America - Woody Mayhew Photography 7130 Royal Lane Dallas, Texas 75230 USA http://www.nexusamerica.com 214-368-3555 <Bob Fenner, WetWebMedia.com>

Re: Daily Fish Email out WWM Wow, nice. Those clowns are a favorite subject. They are photogenic, they don't move too fast, not like some of the fish I've seen you chasing around. Hope you had a Mighty Christmas. <Yes Miguel, thank you. See you soon. Bob F> Mike

Re: Daily Fish Email out WWM Good eye spotting that little guy. Must be shot from a predator's point of view. <That and a prey items! Bob Fenner> Todd Gabriel
Re: Daily Fish Email out WWM
Another winner. That camera is doing good for you it seems.  <Sometimes I drop it, or it gets banged along the reef, fires off and voila (!), you get a decent image!> I am having good luck taking product shots with the Olympus 3000 and a macro lens. <Go with the digital here. Bob Fenner> Todd Gabriel

Re: It's a beautiful day. A bio-sun Fungia danai in Fiji... w/ lips like what? (daily wallpaper email-out) Gorgeous - did you take this?
