Corynactis californica. A cool to coldwater Corallimorpharian found off Mexico and the U.S. California coasts. Here on the Yukon wreck off San Diego 2017.

Pseudocorynactis sp. This genus occurs in larger sizes than Corynactis spp. (to about six inches across) and have very sticky, stinging tentacles... able to catch and hold fishes of good size... and consume them.

Ricordea florida, rounded tentacles that are larger around the edge. Pale/r centers. About 1 1/2 to 2" across each polyp. Here in Providenciales, Grand Turks.

Palythoa tuberculosa (Esper 1791), Zooxanthellate; widely distributed in the tropical and subtropical Indo-Pacific, including the Red Sea. Green, yellow to dark brown and ochre.
At right in the Red Sea. DiF pic.
