Montipora tuberculosa (Lamarck 1816).
Colonies submassive or laminar. Small corallites occur as both
exsert and embedded, separated by papillae, tuberculae of a
corallite width. Found in most reef types.

Pavona explanulata (Lamarck 1816). Colonies
generally encrusting, maybe massive. Well-spaced corallites have
pillar-like columellae, smooth alternating septo-costae. Nuka Hiva,
Marquesas, Polynesia pic. Found from Red Sea, East Africa to the
Tuamotus, tropical east Pacific. NE Sulawesi, Bitung/Lembeh side, Sulawesi,
Indo.
