Scarus schlegeli (Bleeker 1861), Schlegel's Parrotfish. Found throughout the Pacific with the exception of coastlines generally. To fifteen inches in length. A female in captivity.

Scarus vetula Bloch & Schneider 1801, the Queen Parrotfish. Western Atlantic; Bermuda to Argentina. To two feet in length. A smaller species that occasionally makes its way into pet-fish markets. Bonaire pic of a a terminal/male one.
