Freshwater Pic of the Day Link,

Acanthurus sohal (Forsskal 1775), the Red Sea Clown or Sohal Tang. My vote for best surgeonfish of the genus Acanthurus, though some individuals get quite aggressive with age and size. As long as they're "kingfish", problems are few. A juvenile of about five inches total at House of Fins, CT

Found only in Hawaii, the Neon Wrasse Bodianus sanguineus (Jordan and Evermann 1903) is a small Hog (5-6 inches), of deeper water (generally 200 feet plus) putting it way beyond the commercial collector's realm. But it is gorgeous. House of Fins, CT

Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis (Chevron Tang); All Ctenochaetus species change color with age but the chevron is most striking. Ctenochaetus hawaiiensis young are unforgettable; bold orange bodied covered with variegated lines of electric blue. Adults shift to a deeper orange red base covered with darkish blue uneven horizontal lines, ultimately to almost black.

Cephalopholis polleni  (Bleeker 1868), the Harlequin Hind. To 43 cm. Western Indo-Pacific. A ten inch one at House of Fins, CT
