Polycarpa pigmentata (Herdman 1906). Distinctive, independent polyps with thick leathery tunics, bright white-dotted siphon interiors. Red Sea 2019.



Aetea truncata (Landsburough 1852). A tentative ID of colonies come upon in the upper Sinai diving 2019.



Sinularia gardineri forms flat colonies with uprising trunks that in turn subdivide up to six times, grey to cream in color. This one at night in the Red Sea.
 


Lobophytum pauciflorum (Ehrenberg 1852), Devil's Hand Soft Coral. Indo-West Pacific, including the Red Sea. Low stalked w/ large capitulum (head). Numerous (yellowish) polyps, increasing on lobe ends. Large grey/yellow colonies; common in shallows, reef slopes. Red Sea 2019.
