Carangoides bajad (Forsskal 1775), the Orangespotted Trevally. Indo-West Pacific; Red Sea to the Philippines. To twenty two inches in length. Two color varieties in the Gulf of Aqaba, Red Sea.

Carangoides orthogrammus (Jordan & Gilbert 1882), the Island Trevally. Western Indian Ocean to Mexico. To twenty eight inches in length. A young one off of N. Sulawesi.
 
Symphorichthys spilurus (Gunther 1874) (aka the Majestic Snapper) must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. These two have golden yellow bodies flanked by bright blue horizontal bars, two vertical black head bands and a dark caudal spot. They look touchy but are as tough as the best snappers. To two and three feet maximum length respectively. Here is a large Majestic in captivity; at the Shedd Aq.
